At $150 a ticket, each seat we sell for this event funds 7 meals at our Tamburitzans production camp!
Join us for an exclusive multi-cultural, multi-sensory event at the Pittsburgh Playhouse's Highmark Theater on June 6th, 2025 as we kickstart our 89th season!
Did you know... The annual Tamburitzans production camp - where we build, rehearse, and create the show for our performance season - costs approximately $60,000 each year. This includes -
- $35,000 for room and board for 21 days at Washington and Jefferson University for our 25 students, 3 full time staff, and 12 rotating artistic instructors.
- $12,500 for artistic instruction - this year includes costs associated with bringing renowned instructor and artist(s) Dimitar and Eva Hristovi from Sofia, Bulgaria to teach an original work to our students.
- $6,000 for wardrobe materials and services
- $6,500 for tech, tour, and misc. expenses
Our annual Season Finale Fundraiser seeks to raise two thirds of the cost of our camp to ensure a successful start to another Tamburitzans season. Please help us give the gift of music, dance, and song to audiences across the US by attending our Gala event!
