The Tamburitzans bring their electrifying new production, The Shared Song, to Independence High School for a one-night-only performance celebrating the music, dance, and stories of Eastern Europe. Known for their high-energy artistry and cultural authenticity, The Tamburitzans deliver an unforgettable journey through centuries-old traditions brought vividly to life on stage.
This performance holds special meaning in the Greater Cleveland area, home to one of the largest and most vibrant Slavic communities in the United States. From Croatian harmonies and Serbian kolo to spirited Irish rhythms, The Shared Song honors the cultural roots that helped shape Cleveland’s neighborhoods, churches, festivals, and family traditions—connecting generations through shared heritage and joyful expression.
Featuring a diverse ensemble of student-performers from across the U.S. and abroad, The Shared Song is more than a concert—it’s a celebration of identity, community, and the universal language of music.
