Paul Hladio

Paul Hladio was a member of the Tamburitzans from 1984 to 1988 while studying at Duquesne University. While in the group, he played bass and began driving the tour bus. For the past 40 years, Paul has continued performing with many tambura bands and is most recognizable as a member of Orkestar Zabava, all the while teaching Physics at Ambridge High School full time (on the side). For Paul, assuming the role of Tour Manager is a natural progression - he continued to help drive the bus under the direction of several artistic directors since his time in the group, as well as assisting with the sound systems, stage technology, and equipment repairs as necessary. Paul is married to 1993 Tamburitzan graduate Lisa Masciola, and has, so far, coaxed two of his six kids into joining the group.
